Casey Fields Lighting Upgrade |
| The Casey Scorpions and the City of Casey are pleased to announce that the lighting upgrade for the VFLOval at Casey Fields has been completed and is ready for the 2008 football season. |
The Scorpions home ground has had lighting adequate for training but is excited with the reality of playing night football this season. The lighting towers which stand 33 metres above the ground have been upgraded from 50 lux to 230 lux. Each of the 4 towers now contain 15 bulbs instead of the previous 4. The lights will be at their best for rounds 2 and 3 this season, with night games against 2 of our biggest rivals in Frankston and Box Hill respectively. This is a fantastic opportunity for the club, and one that our supporters will no doubt enjoy! 
Both games are expected to draw large crowds, be sure to book early if you plan on attending the President’s Dinners on the respective nights. The reserves grade will kick off at 10 past 4 on those afternoons to make a great evening at the footy |
