The Scorpions started in their usual fashion with lots of points and lots of the ball.
Early hard work by Tasmania was showing on the scoreboard and the Scorpions had to start kicking goals to take the lead.
Fergus Watts and Brett Voss took on the lead role up forward, and were set up through the midfield by running play from Kyle Matthews and Troy Makepeace.
The Backs were holding the Devils with James Gwilt, (celebrating his twenty First on the day of the Game, Happy Birthday James) and Matty Ferguson, and after half time the Scorpions ran away from the young Tasmanian team.

Watching Adam Parker play footy is like watching a brickie on a job site. There's no fuss, no glamour, not ritz, just a bloke who knows what he has to do, and who's getting the job done. - Feature on Adam Parker
